Your Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to give patients who don't have insurance, or who aren't planning to use their insurance, an estimate of expected charges before receiving services.
You have the right to:
Receive a written Good Faith Estimate of expected costs for therapy or consultation services before your first session, or any time you request one. Receive this estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service. Dispute your bill if the amount charged is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate. Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
What's Included
Your Good Faith Estimate will reflect the expected cost of your therapy or consultation sessions based on the frequency and type of service discussed during scheduling. If your treatment plan changes, an updated estimate can be provided.
How to Request an Estimate
You can request a Good Faith Estimate by emailing nickygtherapy@gmail.com or calling 818.401.8889. I believe in being upfront about costs, there are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
